ISO

ISO rates the fire defenses of a community under its " Public Protection Classification (PPC) Program " to determine the community fire insurance rates.

The ISO " Fire Suppression Rating Schedule " (FSRS) allots 654 points to " Engine - Company Equipment ", of which 100 points are awarded for conducting service tests annually.  Tests conducted in accordance with NFPA 1911 meet this criteria.
